Recently, I went for undergoing a special interview on 6th April 2009, conducted by Admissions and Records Division (A&R), IIUM (formerly known as UIAM) in the way to apply for Bachelor of Pharmacy in IIUM for June 2009 intake. The interview is conducted in Meeting Room, A&R Division in IIUM Gombak campus starting from 9 a.m. until 12.p.m. The assessors are the Deans of Health Science Faculties, IIUM though there is no the Dean of Pharmacy Faculty on the day unfortunately. To be surprised, I’ve met my friends in INTEC from AUSMAT program who are Fawwaz, Ain Balqis, Nadiah and Fidah there. They also struggled to get the chance to study in IIUM for the coming intake as I am. There are about 30 students, mostly from A Level Medicine in Kolej Teknologi Timur, Sepang, who have also undergone the special interview. Particularly, the interview is conducted to interview students who have studied international preparation program such as A Level and AUSMAT program for Medicine, Dentistry or Pharmacy, who unfortunately couldn’t fly and hope to continue their first degree locally in their preferred course.
